A Soireé an Evening or in Danish a Selskab
Vi har været her før
Med samtalen, filmen, måltidet. Selskab er en sammenkomst med værtsskab, morskab, dårskab, lidenskab, kundskab og ikke mindst fællesskab. Vi har dannet nye venskaber, bygget videre på de vedholdende og tilføjet fællesspisning. Alt med det ene formål: At mødes.
Selskabet starter som regel på en onsdag kl. 18:30 og slutter tilpas. Reservation sker via hjemmesiden. Aftenen er bygget op omkring et måltid og fællesborde med og uden bordkort. Herefter forløber aftenen som et selskab nu gør, med passende intermezzo, samtaler, plads til at enes og ikke mindst tid til at spise - drikke.

Er vores nyeste tilføjelse til måltidet, skabt til de mørke måneder og eller en som en god undskyld for at komme ud. Vi serverer en 2 retters menu, som deleretter eller hvad der hører aftenen. Menuen er hovedsageligt vegetarisk med enkelte elementer fra havet. Læs mere under den enkelt aften.

Selskab meaning
[ In its original meaning a “group of friends”. Nowadays it means a business company, a dinner party, sociable - selskabelig or “just” a party.
The syllable skab means to create (also means a cupboard) and is used in many compound words. For instance værtskab - hosting, morskab - fun, dårskab - folly, lidenskab - passion, kundskab - knowledge, fuldskab - drunkenness and fællesskab - community ]
Hence we created Selskab, evenings with all of the above, with community eating, movie nights and salons. All with one purpose; to meet around a table, share a meal and conversations.
Selskab is on a Wednesday starting at 18:30 and ends appropriately. Reservations through our home page. Guests are seated at sharing tables with and without place cards.
Community eating
Is our latest addition to Selskab. A social dinner created to withstand the darker months of the year or just an excellent excuse to go out and meet people. Acting as an eatery, we serve a 2 course meal as sharing dishes or whatever the evenings theme dictates, with options of add ons on the evening. The menu is per default vegetarian with added elements from the sea.
